HOW WE RECOMMEND

Start with your home—not a bestseller list.

The best product is the one that fits the job at your home. We rule out bad fits first, then make the remaining trade-offs easy to understand.

1

START WITH THE JOB

Tell us what you're dealing with.

Pool full of leaves? Steep lawn? Large cat? Difficult windows? We start with the recurring job and your situation—not with a brand we want to sell.

2

REMOVE BAD FITS

Bad fits get removed first.

Wrong pool type, insufficient coverage, unsupported dimensions or a missing must-have feature can eliminate a product before preference enters the picture.

3

COMPARE WHAT REMAINS

Then compare what actually matters.

Among compatible choices, we look at the problem you actually have—leaves, fine debris, surface cleaning, unusual features and other situation-specific needs.

OUR PROMISE

A bigger commission doesn't make a product a better fit.

Affiliate relationships do not change our recommendations. A merchant paying more cannot make its product a better match for your home.

FIT
FIRST.

TRUST THE LIMITS

If we don't know, we say so.

Manufacturer specifications and documentation can establish compatibility, but they are not the same as independent hands-on testing. If we haven't personally tested something, we won't imply that we have.

And when an important specification cannot be verified, we label the uncertainty instead of inventing a number to make the comparison look complete.

SEE IT IN ACTION

See the method work on your pool.

The Pool Robot Finder puts this approach to work using your pool type, size, debris and the areas you need cleaned.
